Diamonds:
In order to pay the most for your diamonds we use the weekly issued Diamond Rapaport sheet. This sheet is the jewelry industry standard for the global market prices for diamonds. Diamond prices are based on the 5 c’s of diamonds. Carat, color, clarity, cut, & cost.

Carat:
The standard weight measurement for diamonds is the Carat. For example, one carat is equivalent to 1/5 of a gram. Also, there are “100 points” in a carat, a .75 “point” diamond is considered ¾ of a carat. Your diamond is weighed in front of you on a certified diamond scale.
Color:
The color of a diamond refers to how “colorless” a diamond is. Colors range from D (colorless) to Z (very yellow). Most diamonds have some form of color. True rarities are natural fancy colored diamonds that are yellow, blue, pink, purple, & red.
Clarity:
Simply put, clarity is how “clear” a diamond is. Most diamonds contain blemishes and inclusions that are formed during the diamond’s crystallization. The clarity grading system refers to the impact of the blemishes when the diamond is viewed under 10X magnification. Clarity ranges from F (Flawless) to I3 (Imperfect).
Cut:
Cut refers to the make and quality of the way the diamond was crafted. The standard diamond cuts are Round, Oval, Emerald, Radiant, Asscher, Princess, Trilliant, Pear, Marquise, Heart, & Baguettes.
Cost:
The cost of a diamond factors in carat, color, clarity, & cut. Using these factors and the Diamond Rapaport sheet we are able to pay you the latest market price for your diamond.
